Psychology for Sport, Performance, and Wellbeing
with Jo Davies, C.Psychol
Welcome.
I’m Jo, a Chartered Sport Psychologist.
I help sportspeople to understand and work with their minds, so they can perform at their best and feel better equipped to manage the twists and turns of life.
I also work with people in other performance settings, helping them navigate pressure, build confidence and get the best out of themselves.

Do you ever...
...get caught up in “What if...?”worries or nerves that get in the way?
...compare yourself to others, and wonder if you’re good enough or really belong?
...get distracted by “I can’t...” thoughts that hold you back?
...beat yourself up after mistakes or setbacks in a way that you’d never treat a friend?
...feel stressed by the demands of sport, work or life, and unsure where to start?
This is where I can help.
My passion and expertise lie in helping sportspeople navigate psychological challenges and make changes that support both performance and wellbeing. I offer a blend of therapy and coaching, helping you make sense of what’s going on, develop practical strategies, and get the best out of yourself.
As a triathlete myself, sport is at the heart of my work. But the psychological skills and insights we develop can extend far beyond sport. For over a decade, I’ve worked with sportspeople, performers, executives, medics, coaches, psychologists, and young people.
Sport and life are full of changes and uncertainties that can challenge us mentally. I believe everyone can benefit from having a space to talk openly, feel heard, and be supported in their personal development. I’m here to meet you with warmth, enthusiasm, and plenty of evidence-based practical strategies.
